From Liz in 2022: This is the house we (the grandkids) inherited from our grandfather (Gustav Max Schmidt, the one that was shot in the street at the end of WWII)... also inherited with Wolfram, Gunther and Gerhart. After the wall came down, private property was given back to the original owners. This is the picture Karin just received from Wolfram. It was in the Russian zone, so during that time no one owned it was owned by the East German government. After the East/West wall came down, all property went back to the original owners, which included Karin and me. It's in Rochlitz (I think there is a castle with that name in that town).
